Introduction |

Golf is one of the most popular sports in South Africa. Nearly each village has at least one or more golf courses. Thanks to the climate, the diversity of golf courses and the landscape, the Cape is a real paradise for overseas golfers. Within a radius of 50kms from Ons Genot Country Lodge, at least 20 golf courses can be found, several of these are even ranked for international tournaments. This program has been set up in such way that dragging around with luggage and golf equipment is not necessary, during the complete tour program you stay at Ons Genot. Each morning we play on a different golf course somewhere in the Cape and in the afternoon some time is left for sightseeing and/or shopping. |
| Day 1 | |
|
Arrive in Cape Town. A warm welcome and shuttle to ONS GENOT in Stellenbosch, situated in the heart of the Winelands. After lunch we will visit our neighbours at Devon Vale Golf Course for a 9 -or 18-hole play to relax the body from the long flight and to test our golf equipment. |

| Day 2 - Paarl | |

After an early breakfast, The first golf course to be visited is Boschenmeer at Paarl. Beautifully situated close to the 'Pearl Rock' mountains. 18 holes, Par 74, 6.260 metres. After lunch, somewhere in Paarl, we will visit the language monument, symbol of the Afrikaans language, enjoy the stunning views from this point. After this, the KWV wine cellar will be visited. This is the largest wine cellar in the area and produces world class wines, only for export. We will also taste some wine here. |
| Day 3 - Clovelly | |

This morning we leave early for Clovelly. Here we will play on a golf course situated nearby the coast of the Indian ocean at Kalk Bay. Extra handicap here will be the wind, which can be many times stormy.18 holes, Par 72, 5.908 metres. After a lunch, we will visit first a boulders beach and then drive to the most beautiful nature reserve on earth: Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. |

| Day 4 - Stellenbosch | |

After breakfast, Stellenbosch golf course will be visited. This golf course, situated between the vineyard with views on the Helderberg mountain range, is an internationally recognized golf course. Many international tournaments take place at this golf course. Watch out for hole 6! 18 holes, par 72, 5.851 metres. Lunch will be taken in Stellenbosch, followed by a visit of Historical Stellenbosch with its 'Dorps museum" and the famous "Oom Samie se Winkel". |
| Day 5 - Milnerton | |

Today we go back to the sea, the Atlantic Ocean this time at Milnerton. While playing golf in the dunes, enjoy the views of Table mountain and discover how "perfect" this mountain for this side is! One of the most spectacular courses. 18 holes, par 72, 5.788 metre. After lunch we will visit the V&A Waterfront, the first tourist attraction in Cape Town. Several activities are possible here, visit Robben island, do some shopping, visit the spectacular Two Oceans Aquarium or just stroll around the harbour. |

| Day 6 - Erinvale | |

Top of the bill of golf courses in the Cape, Erinvale golf course is visited today. Situated on the outskirts of Somerset West, this course was the location of the golf World championship in 1986. Owned by Gary Player, South Africas most famous golfer.18 holes, par 72, 6.400 metre. |
| Day 7 - Cape Town | |

Today we play at the oldest golf course of South Africa:Royal Cape Golf Club at Wynberg. This golf course is situated at the back of Table Mountain and exists since 1885. 18 holes, par 72, 5.787 metre. After lunch, we will visit Table Mountain. |
| Day 8 - Stellenbosch | |
 |
Today is the last day of the program, we first pack our suit-cases and before we leave for the airport for our return flight, we still have some time for a visit to a wine estate in the area do some shopping or to relax at the swimming pool.
For those who still do not have enough, we can play a 18-hole at De Zalze Golf Course in Stellenbosch. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport. |
